Day 1: Cairo

You made your way to Egypt – welcome. Let us get on our way to your hotel after meeting and assisting you through customs.
For those who arrive morning or mid day, don’t forget to look at our options to experience more of Cairo.
Over night in Cairo

Day 2: Pyramids and Saqqara

Get ready for your first day in and around Cairo. This city, the largest African city, is the neighbor of Giza, where the Great Pyramids stand. We will make our way to the Giza plateau to meet these giants face to face and also shake hands with the Sphinx that stand at the foot of the great Pyramids. You even have a chance to hop on a camel with the Pyramids in the background. We will make our way to the Stepped Pyramid of Djoser situated in Saqqara.

This is the first building in the history of mankind and on a clear day, one can spot the Giza pyramids from this complex. After stocking up on some snacks, we will gather at the train station to make our way to Luxor per over night train.
Over night train to Luxor (B)

Day 3: Luxor

We arrive in Luxor early morning where you have a free morning to catch up on some sleep or roam the streets of Luxor. We will later on visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor, where you can imagine how the rows of sphinxes once joined these two majestic temples many years ago. This visit is followed by some more free time to spend on shopping for quality Egyptian goods.
Over night in Luxor (B)

Day 4: Luxor

Early this morning, we will visit the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, the Temple of Hatshepsut and on our way back to the east bank, we will meet up with the Colossi of Memnon. Have a look at our See More options to experience Luxor from a Hot Air Balloon. This afternoon we will board our 5-Star Cruise and start sailing to our next destination.
Over night on Cruise Boat (B.L.D)

Day 5: Esna , Edfu

Waking up while sailing the Nile river – making our way to Esna. The main attraction of this Egyptian city is the temple of Esna, which is only partially excavated. Before lunch you have an opportunity to walk around the great Esna market searching for treasures. Our way forward takes us to the Temple of Edfu. What a temple. Majestic to say the least. The endless rows of pillars provide amazing photo opportunities. Tonight we dine on board while sailing towards Kom Ombo.
Over night on Cruise Boat (B.L.D)

Day 6: Kom Ombo , Aswan

As we have breakfast, we sail along the Nile to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo. This temple still has evidence of how color was used on walls, ceilings and pillars to beautify the splendid temples for Gods. We make our way sailing to Aswan. Do take as much time to spend outside to look at the smartly laid out croplands of the Egyptian farmers.
Over night on Cruise Boat (B.L.D)

Day 7: Aswan

As soon as we set foot on dry land, we visit the High Dam, which is part of Lake Nasser – the largest man made lake in the world. Back in the water, we take a short motorboat trip to the Philae Temple. One of the most beautiful crafted of all temples. Tonight we will walk through the Aswan markets where you can shop for some traditional Egyptian goods before we board our cruiser once more.
Over night on Cruise Boat (B.L.D)

Day 8: Abu Simbel

This morning you have an opportunity to spend free time in the city of Aswan. Have a look at our Egypt Excursions options to visit Abu Simbel where you will see the great Temple of Ramses II.
